Grief 101

It can be difficult to talk about grief. You may not know what to say, how to feel, or how to react to the feelings and experiences that happen when you or someone else is grieving. In this seminar, we explore reactions that many people experience in their grief. We talk about validating and normalizing grief response, supporting others who are grieving, and encouraging self-care while navigating your own grief.

Grief in the Workplace

Providing a supportive framework for employees or coworkers through the grieving process can be difficult and uncomfortable. Our grief counselors offer employee support programs for managing grief arising out of the workplace, such as the death of a coworker, as well as resources, training, and best practices for managers when employees experience a death outside the workplace.

Healthcare Professionals: Caring for Ourselves

In the best of times, the world of healthcare is stressful and demanding. The COVID-19 pandemic has only intensified the stressors on healthcare providers as they experience new workplace hazards, isolation, and death. In this seminar, we focus on empowering healthcare workers to navigate grief with awareness, balance, and connection. We will look at the impact of cumulative grief and compassion fatigue experienced by caregivers and offer tools for managing these feelings.
